Our Mission

The purpose of the Rim Music Boosters is to secure and preserve a performance-based musical tradition for the education and enjoyment of residents and students enrolled in the Rim of the World Unified School District; to allow public school musical education to be expanded within and beyond the classroom; to provide charitable support for pupils in need to participate in music activities as prescribed by the California Education code.  To these ends, activities will include, but not be limited to providing and/or enhancing where necessary: facilitation of public performances; providing equipment, supplies and services; supporting the improvement of musical excellence; and engaging in fund raising activities to ensure the perseverance of performance-based public school musical education within the Rim of the World Unified School District.  In general, the Club will support the Band programs (including marching, auxiliary units, and concert), Orchestra, and Choir at Rim High School, with consideration given to supporting efforts that benefit the music programs at MPH and the elementary schools in a way that sustains the Rim High School music programs.
